Buff Burger · General Manager
Building a catering program from scratch
As General Manager of a high-volume Houston restaurant, I designed and launched a catering program aimed at schools and local businesses.
Result 2–3 new catering contracts closed every week
The situation
Buff Burger was already a busy restaurant, with $8M+ in annual revenue and 4,000–5,000 customers a month. Its only source of revenue, though, was people walking in the door.
What I did
I designed and launched a catering program aimed at two audiences that order food regularly: schools and local businesses. That meant defining the offer, reaching out to those organizations, and building the operations to deliver catering orders without disrupting the restaurant.
Results
- 2–3 catering contracts closed per week, consistently.
- A new revenue line on top of in-store sales.
Why it matters for marketing
This was marketing before I had the title: find an audience, shape an offer for it, reach out, and build a process that delivers every time. I bring the same approach to social media and automation today.
