About — Jonathan McKelvey

I run social media for multiple clients at SuperDupr, an Austin-based studio that builds websites, AI systems, and marketing for small and mid-size businesses. I work remotely from the Houston area. Most weeks I'm planning and publishing content across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, building Make.com automations that take busywork off the team, and keeping several client accounts on schedule.

What I'm good at

Multi-client social media. Strategy, content, scheduling, engagement, and analytics for several brands at once, each in its own voice.
Marketing automation. Make.com certified. My workflows remove 10+ hours of manual marketing work a week across client accounts.
AI-assisted content. ChatGPT, Claude, and Canva workflows that cut content production time by more than half, with a human edit on everything.
Client communication. I'm the primary point of contact on multiple accounts: deliverables, status, and approvals.
Documentation. Every system I build gets an SOP.

Before marketing

I spent seven years at Buff Burger in Houston and worked my way up from crew member to General Manager. I ran an $8M+ operation with 30+ employees and built a catering program that closed 2–3 contracts a week. After that I led the front desk team at Massage Envy, where structured coaching drove a 25% membership conversion rate.

That background is why I treat marketing like operations: clear owners, clear deadlines, and a system that still works on the busiest week of the month.

What I'm looking for

A marketing role on an in-house team in Houston or remote: social media, marketing coordination, or marketing operations. I want a place where I can own the calendar, improve the process, and grow with the team.

Outside work

Houston sports fan, all of them: Astros, Texans, Rockets, Dynamo, and my University of Houston Cougars. I also keep several aquariums at home. Building and maintaining a healthy tank is its own kind of systems work: routines, monitoring, and catching small problems before they become big ones. Eagle Scout.
